Our application technology department develops customised solutions for your individual requirements.

The large variety of clays available from our quarries is our point of departure for body development and optimisation. Customer projects may have the objective of developing a raw material mixture or body composition for direct use at the customer’s plant.

On the other hand, our application technology department also deals with projects for customers who wish to improve their production body with targeted raw materials. By adding carefully selected special clays from the wide range of products of Stephan Schmidt Gruppe, we succeed in enhancing the specific properties of our customers’ products.

The concept proposals worked out by our experts are tested on a laboratory scale at the customers’ and then confirmed by means of a reliable industrial trial.
